Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 4, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to David PM ("we," "our," or "us"). We provide Project Management as a Service (PMaaS), a human-AI hybrid solution for managing cross-functional projects. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account or submit your project, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Company name and role
- Project details for evaluation
- Billing and payment information
2.2 Project Information
To deliver our PMaaS service, we collect metadata about your projects:
- Project names, descriptions, and timelines
- Task titles, status, and assigned owners
- URLs/links to your documents (not the document content itself)
- Stakeholder names and email addresses
- Status updates and check-in responses
Important: We store task metadata and links, not your actual work content. Your Google Docs, code repositories, design files, and other work remain in your existing tools with your access controls unchanged.
2.3 Stakeholder Communications
When stakeholders respond to David PM check-in emails:
- We collect their email responses to generate status updates
- Stakeholders are informed they are communicating with David PM
- Responses are processed by both AI systems and human reviewers
2.4 Automatically Collected Information
When you use our dashboard, we automatically collect:
- Log data (IP address, browser type)
- Usage information (pages visited, features used)
- Device information
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide project management services, including weekly check-ins and status reports
- Generate AI-assisted communications that are reviewed by humans before sending
- Track project progress and identify blockers or risks
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send you executive previews for approval before team communications
- Improve our service quality and AI systems
- Respond to support tickets and requests
4. Human-AI Hybrid Processing
David PM uses a human-AI hybrid approach. This means:
- AI systems help draft communications, summarize updates, and track progress
- Our team reviews all AI-generated content before it is sent
- Humans make decisions about escalations, timeline changes, and stakeholder management
- Your data is processed by both automated systems and our team members
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With your stakeholders: We send project updates to stakeholders you designate.
- Service providers: We use third-party services for email delivery, payment processing, and infrastructure.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information or project data to third parties.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure cloud infrastructure
- Access controls for team members
- Regular security reviews
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal information.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and DavidPM data.
- Activity Log: Export your project activity log.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications.
Since your actual work content (documents, code, designs) remains in your existing tools, there is minimal project data to "export" from DavidPM.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@davidpm.pro.
8. Data Retention
We retain DavidPM data (task metadata, stakeholder contacts, activity logs) for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. After account termination, we delete this data unless required by law to retain it. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Your actual work content (documents, code, designs) is never stored by DavidPM — it remains in your existing tools throughout and after your subscription.
9. Stakeholder Privacy
When you add stakeholders to your project:
- You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to share their contact information with us
- Stakeholders receive emails from David PM on your behalf
- Stakeholders can opt out of communications by contacting us
- We do not use stakeholder information for marketing purposes
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
