Track Medication Supply

The app tracks your medication supply and alerts you when it's running low:

  • Each time a dose is logged, the supply count decreases automatically
  • View current supply levels on the Meds tab
  • You'll receive a notification when supply is low (configurable in Notification Settings)
  • Update supply levels manually when you refill a prescription

Log Equipment Cleaning

  3. Choose a duration (15, 30, or 60 seconds)
  4. Tap the button once for each breath you observe
  5. The app calculates breaths per minute automatically
  6. Review the result and tap Save

Tip: Count when your cat is resting or sleeping for the most accurate baseline reading. Each rise and fall of the chest counts as one breath.

Log an Asthma Attack

  1. Go to the Health tab and select your pet
  2. Tap Log Asthma Attack
  3. Record the severity (mild, moderate, severe)
  4. Select any observed symptoms and potential triggers

    • Medication reminders
    • Low supply alerts
    • Missed dose alerts
  3. Set Quiet Hours to prevent notifications during specific times (e.g., overnight)

Notifications Not Working?

  1. Make sure notifications are enabled in the app: Settings > Notification Settings
  2. Check iOS permissions: iPhone Settings > Notifications > Cat Asthma Tracker — ensure "Allow Notifications" is on
  3. Verify that Quiet Hours aren't active during the times you expect notifications

Account Management

View Your Account

Go to Settings > Account to see your display name and account details.

Sign Out

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Tap Sign Out
  3. Confirm when prompted

Delete Your Account

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Tap Delete All Data
  3. Follow the confirmation steps

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your personal data is removed, your family membership is severed, and other family members will lose access to shared data attributed to your account.

Tips for Best Results

  • Count breathing rate regularly: Track at least a few times per week when your cat is resting to build a reliable baseline
  • Log doses promptly: Mark doses as given right after administering them so your family members see accurate, up-to-date information
  • Keep supply levels current: Update medication quantities when you refill prescriptions so low-supply alerts remain accurate
  • Share with your vet: Use the health history trends during vet visits to give your veterinarian a clear picture of your cat's condition over time
